The IC695CHS012 is a 12-slot universal backplane that forms the physical and electrical backbone of any RX3i PACSystems control system. Engineered for high-speed PCI-style data transfers, the rack accepts CPU, I/O, motion, communications and specialty modules in any slot position. Reinforced aluminum side-walls, integrated grounding and forced-air guides make it the default choice for OEMs, power plants and process skids that demand vibration-proof, high-density mounting.

1. Mount on unpainted conductive panel for < 0.1 Ω earth bond; use serrated washers.
2. Leave 50 mm clearance above and 25 mm below for forced-air flow (100 LFM recommended above 50 °C).
3. Torque M4 screws to 1.2 N*m; DIN-rail adaptor IC695ACC002 available for vibration-free snap-fit.
4. Verify power budget - sum 5 V & 3.3 V loads; rack can deliver 10 A @ 5 V total.
5. Install keying pin set (IC695ACC003) after first module configuration to prevent future mismatch.
