IS220UCSAH1A is a fan-less, base-mounted controller that forms the real-time "brain" of GE's Mark VIe turbine and process-control platform. Driven by a 667 MHz Freescale 8349 CPU and the QNX Neutrino RTOS, it executes protection, sequencing and control logic for gas, steam and wind turbines, as well as balance-of-plant equipment. Triple-redundant capability, Class I Div. 2 certification and multiple on-board Ethernet ports make it the default choice for mission-critical power-generation and oil-&-gas applications that demand millisecond response and 99.9% up-time.
