Installation & Start-up
  1. Power down CPU - plug-in module is not hot-swappable
  2. Insert module - slide left until latch clicks
  3. Wire serial - use Belden 9841 (RS-485) or 8306 (RS-232)
  4. Configure port - CCW > Plug-in > Serial > 9600-8-N-1, Modbus-RTU Master
  5. Test communications - poll slave, verify RX LED flash and data in buffer
